Construction Education Scholarships
Sustain our industry by sending students to school
MBAKS is committed to encouraging students seeking education related to the homebuilding industry. We are honored to award scholarships for qualifying technical, community college, and university programs. We also award scholarships to women seeking education and training in the construction trade through the Professional Women in Building Scholarship.
Between 2015 and 2021, MBAKS has had the honor of awarding more than $140,000 in scholarship funds.
Applications for our 2022 scholarships will open in February and will be due in April. Recipients will be notified
by the end of June.
Applicants must desire a career in the residential construction industry after completing their studies. Applicants must be pursuing a degree or training in a construction-related field at a Washington-based technical school, community college, or university.
Scholarships will be awarded at partial or full tuition per student, per year. Funds will be paid directly to the program requested and may be used for tuition, books, or course-required supplies and equipment.
Applicant’s interest in the residential construction industry, grades, employment experience, extracurricular activities, references, and financial need will be considered.
